While buried installation is the preferred method for placing BrightPath distribution cable, aerial installation is

possible.

INSULATED GLOVES SHOULD BE WORN BY ALL PERSONNEL THAT ARE IN CONTACT WITH

BRIGHTPATH CABLES UNTIL THE CONDUCTIVE COMPONENT OF THE CABLE IS BONDED TO THE

GROUNDING NETWORK.

Take care to ensure that construction personnel do not use bare hands to touch the messenger or cable. Constant

inspection and certification of insulated gloves is recommended.

NOTICE – SELF SUPPORTING FIBER CABLES SUCH AS FD (FLAT DROP) WITH SPAN LENGTHS

OVER 125 FEET IN HEAVY LOADING CONDITIONS WILL REQUIRE ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING

SUPPORT.
